About myself and my work

Hi! I’m Lynne. I’m a freelance illustrator and fine artist living in central Maryland.

I draw animals and people in nature. More precisely, I tend to explore the animal spirit and the human connection to nature in my work. Like most artists I’m also heavily influenced and inspired by the stories in literature, film, and TV. Especially science fiction/fantasy and mythology. So I draw that sometimes as well with extra emphasis on the nature or animals within those stories.

My style of drawing is rough and sketchy. I finish each drawing digitally using either Photoshop, Painter, or a combination of the two. I also use photography in my work.
